It’s old news that Emma Watson is now the face of Burberry which is one of my favorite brands. What I find awesome is that Burberry is embracing the web and is launching a social network called The Art of the Trech. Heck yes, I’ve already signed up for it.

I am some sort of breed of human who has a deep seeded desire to wear shiny metal clothing. If it’s tacky, shiny and silver, I want it! If everyone walked around metallic clothing, I would believe that I’d died and gone to heaven. I’m not sure where this taste in tackiness came from but I’m sure it has everything to do with being a child of the 80′s and a love of all things retro-futuristic.

My Steampunk Project
February 18, 2009I’m taking a course. The assignment was to take a mannequin and decorate it inspired by an artist, a culture or art style. We were told that we could do ANYTHING that we wanted. The first thing that came to my mind was steampunk! I had a lot of fun with this project but it was very stressful.
